Many generations ago, the vinegrowing families of Valdeorras created a unique sweet wine, locally called ‘tostado’ (‘toasted’). On the brink of disappearance due to its complex production and very low yield, this style returns to the present day thanks to the passionate vocation of the Rodero Villa family to recover a myth of ancestral viticulture.

Sweet and fresh at the same time, our Tostado de Seadur stands for a unique combination of natural conditions and cultural experience. A strict selection of the ideal Godello clusters, a patient and delicate process of raisining the grapes and, finally, a slow winemaking and ageing processes, which respect the rhythms set by nature. The result is a jewel of very limited production, a wine of whim and celebration. Magic drop by drop. 

Racimos godello
Origin Grape clusters chosen from selected old vineyard plots in the village of Seadur.
Winemaking Three months of grape drying using the traditional hanging system. After this, the raisins are pressed and the must ferments in used French oak barrels.
Ageing One year in the same barrels, in contact with the lees. Six more months in the bottle.
